Threads of Fate (2001, for violin, violoncello and piano), duration: 14 min. The work was awarded the First Prize in The 2001 Andrzej Panufnik International Young Composers Competition (Cracow, Poland); the premiere was given by Aleksandra Honcel (violin), Bartlomiej Kominek (piano), and Marcin Bielawski (violoncello) on the 25th November 2001 at the “Manggha” Centre for Japanese Art and Technology in Kraków, Poland. The Australian premiere was given by Trio Erytheia on the 26 October 2003 at the Parliament House, Melbourne. > Listen to sample
Wildchild (2000, for violin and piano), duration: 4 min 30 sec. Composed in response to a call for scores on the theme of the Reconciliation between indigenous and non-indigenous Australians. Premiered by violinist Brendan Joyce in Washington D.C. (USA) on the 14th of May 2001.
Flexible Strings (2000, for guitar ensemble), duration: 13 min. Commissioned by Guitarstrophe! (a West Australian guitar ensemble) with funds obtained from ArtsWA. The work received numerous performances by Giutarstrophe!, including at the University of Western Australia’s New Music Week 2001, the 2002 Darwin International Guitar Festival, and ABC Classic FM’s Sunday Live program.
Matter of Perspective (2000, for piccolo offstage/amplified bass flute, bass clarinet, piano, violin and violoncello), duration: 12 min. Supported by The 1999 Ian Potter Music Commissions, premiered by the Libra Ensemble on 23rd of August 2001, and 28th of September 2001 in Melbourne during the Federation Music Week; also performed by the IXION Ensemble at the 2003 Brighton Festival (UK); and presented at the 2003 International Rostrum of Composers in Vienna.
Les éruptions du rêve (1999/2000, for 15 musicians), duration: 10 min. Composed for Le Nouvel Ensemble Moderne for the occasion of FORUM 2000. Premiered on the 18th of March 2000 in Adelaide, Australia, also performed on the 18th of October 2000 in Montreal, and by the WASO New Music Ensemble conducted by Roger Smalley on the 12th of May 2000 at the Totally Huge Festival of New Music in Perth, Australia. Floating on the River of Time (1997, for 15 musicians), duration: 10 min. The winning work in the 1998 ABC Classic FM Young Composers’ Award, premiered at the competition’s final by the WASO New Music Ensemble conducted by Roger Smalley on the 14th of May 1998.
The Seventh Star (1996, for solo flute and 16 musicians), duration: 14 min. Performed at the West Australian Conservatorium and the Queensland Conservatorium by student ensembles which I conducted.

Streaming Voices (2000, for orchestra), duration: 12 min. Commissioned by Symphony Australia for performance by the Queensland Symphony Orchestra. The premiere was conducted by Graham Abbott during a live broadcast on New Music Australia (ABC Classic FM) on the 18th of October 2000.
The Secret Mirror (1999, for orchestra), duration: 7 min. Premiered by the Queensland Symphony Orchestra conducted by Gottfried Rabl on the 6th of April 2000 in Brisbane, Australia.
The Luminous Chariot (1998, for orchestra), duration: 21′. Unperformed.
Aphrodite (1996, for orchestra), duration: 11 min. Composed for the 1997 Australian Composers’ Orchestral Forum and performed by the Tasmanian Symphony Orchestra.
