Commissioned by ELISION Ensemble with the support of ArtsWA and Australia Council for the Arts. First performance: 26 May 2007, Melbourne, Australia. The Source Within integrates the following smaller self-contained works:
- RiverBed (2006, for flute, guitar, harp and violin), duration: 9 min. Premiered by ELISION at the 2006 Huddersfield Festival, UK,
- WaveLength (2006, for piccolo clarinet, contrabass clarinet, horn and violoncello), duration: 8 min. Unperformed,
- OverFlow (2006, for oboe, trumpet/picc. trumpet, trombone, percussion), duration: 10 min. Premiered by ELISION Ensemble on the 22nd September 2007 at the 50th Warsaw Autumn Festival, Poland.
